When it comes to comfort food, many expats crave a good feed of familiar Mexican or Tex-Mex favorites. Tex-Mex is extremely common with pubs and sports bars throughout North America, and the world.

Here in Central Japan (Nagoya), you will find some of the best Texas-style Mexican (Tex-Mex) food in the land - if we don't say so ourselves. Shooters Sports Bar & Grill has been serving up great Tex-Mex food for over 20 years, and it keeps getting better and better as our patrons return for more!

Tex-Mex (or Mexican American) food is a fusion of American and Mexican dishes founded by the Tejano people that lived in the area now known as Texas.
the term Tex-Mex was first used as a nickname for the Texas Mexican railway in the 1870's

Shooters' Tex-Mex Menu

We offer enough Tex-Mex items to warrant its own page on our menu, and even spills over into other categories.

Items we serve include taquitos, quesadillas, chicken and steak fajitas, chicken, steak, or pulled-pork smothered burritos, our ever popular "Nomo" nachos (named after the star Japanese pitcher, Hideo Nomo), and our newest creation, the Mexi Burger Wrap - a lightly toasted flour tortilla stuffed with a flame grilled beef patty, smoked bacon, jalapeños, guacamole, melted cheddar cheese, and Shooters' special sauce.
